Granbury, TX — Natalie Ward, a standout martial artist and assistant instructor at the Granbury and Glen Rose martial arts academies, has officially qualified for the upcoming District Championships in an impressive five events: Forms, Weapons, Sparring, Combat Weapons, and Extreme Forms. She will compete this weekend, June 7th, for the prestigious title of District Champion in each category.
At the District Championships, Natalie will face top martial artists from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, competing for the honor of becoming a District Champion in one of the most competitive regions in the country. A victory in any of these divisions will earn her an invitation to the World Championships in July, where she’ll have the opportunity to compete for the title of World Champion.
Currently ranked #2 in the state of Texas in Extreme Forms, Natalie has consistently placed in the Top 10 statewide in all five events throughout this tournament season. Competing in the Varsity Division, known for its intensity and elite-level competitors, she has brought home numerous medals and proven herself as one of the top martial artists in her division.
In addition to her achievements in the ring, Natalie gives back to the martial arts community as an assistant instructor in Granbury and Glen Rose, where she helps mentor and train younger students with the same passion and discipline that have fueled her own success.
As Natalie steps onto the mat this weekend, her local community, fellow instructors, and students will be rallying behind her as she aims to clinch the District titles—and take one step closer to becoming a World Champion.
