Glen Rose’s Own Natalie Ward Competes Among the Best in the World!

Phoenix, AZ —  This week, Natalie Ward had the incredible honor of competing at the ATA World Championships, going head-to-head with the top martial arts athletes in the world in forms competition.

To earn her spot on this global stage, Natalie spent the year competing at regional events and ultimately claimed 1st place at the District Championships, where she faced off against the best competitors from four states. That victory secured her invitation to the World Championships — a major milestone in any martial artist’s journey.

This was Natalie’s first year qualifying for Worlds, and although she didn’t bring home a medal, her performance was strong, focused, and inspiring. She held her own among the world's best and walked away with new motivation and invaluable experience.

Natalie isn’t just a dedicated competitor — she is also an instructor at ATA Martial Arts in Glen Rose, Texas, where she trains the next generation of martial artists with the same passion and discipline that drives her own success.

Now, Natalie is setting her sights on her next goal: earning her 2nd Degree Black Belt and continuing to train and compete — including this very weekend. Her students, instructors, and community are all proud of the example she sets — not only as a competitor, but as a leader and role model.
