Galileah Chavez Finishes 4th in the World in Combat Sparring in Her Debut Season
Phoenix,AZ — July 25, 2025 — Galileah Chavez has made an unforgettable entrance onto the world stage of martial arts. In her very first season competing, Galileah earned an impressive 4th place in the world in Combat Sparring at the ATA World Championships.
Galileah also competed in Traditional Sparring, showcasing skill, courage, and relentless drive throughout the tournament. In Combat Sparring, her lightning-fast reflexes and defensive style kept her ahead of the competition, and in the match that knocked her out of medal contention, she lost by only 2 points—a razor-thin margin that proved just how close she was to the podium.
To reach this level in her debut season just show her determination, and natural talent.
Galileah trains at ATA Martial Arts in Cleburne, TX, and will begin the new competition season this Saturday, stepping back onto the mat with more experience, more fire, and her sights set even higher.
